RedRay currently employs over 25 full time staff and is operated by its Directors who hold extensive commercial and project management consultancy experience and strategic business expertise. The entire RedRay team is committed to working in partnership with clients, forming high performing efficient teams and delivering service excellence that help clients succeed and realise their business benefits by raising performance, creating solutions and delivering results.

SHAUN REDDIN – Managing Director

Shaun is RedRay’s Managing Director and since forming RedRay in 2006 has been working with a number of clients developing procurement and commercial strategies and in particular providing commercial and performance management services and advice. Shaun is responsible for managing RedRay’s day to day activities as well as overseeing the growth and development of the company.

Prior to forming RedRay, Shaun was the Commercial Director, Strategic Highways at Mouchel with key involvement in the AmeyMouchel and EnterpriseMouchel JV’s. Shaun joined them from the Ardmore Group where he managed and developed BCL Rail Services Ltd a Railway specialist plant operator business.

Shaun is a business studies graduate who trained as an accountant and spent his early career in the investment banking and finance industry. During his time at Mouchel he also studied for an MBA at the University of Liverpool.



Conall joined RedRay in 2012. He is currently responsible for supporting RedRay’s services to one of our biggest clients, Network Rail. His activities include day to day commercial management, on-going performance audits and developing resultant action plans. Conall’s responsibilities also include the professional development of other members of staff.

Conall graduated as a quantity surveyor from Liverpool John Moores University and gained Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in May 2010, later becoming a fellow. Before joining RedRay Conall worked for one of the largest Construction firms operating in the UK and Ireland. As the lead quantity surveyor on a variety of complex multi-million pound developments, Conall has extensive experience of managing teams and contracts in challenging commercial environments.


SHANKAR MISTRY BSc (Hons) MRICS – Commercial Director

Shankar graduated as a quantity surveyor in 2009 from Sheffield Hallam University, completing a course accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and joined RedRay in 2011 after completing a graduate scheme with Carillion. Shankar has considerable experience in the construction field, having worked on a number of large projects in Rail, Underground and Highways.

Shankar has completed a number of procurement exercises for public sector clients. He has also undertaken a number of due diligence exercises in the UK and overseas involving contract reviews to identify key risks and compliance requirements, examination of contract management arrangements and audits to validate contract compliance, effective management of risks and assessment of contractor performance.


TONY COLLINS – Non-Executive Director

Tony joined RedRay in 2011 as a Senior Consultant and has since become a non-executive director. Tony has vast experience across the construction and built environment industry within the UK and is an expert user of the NEC forms of contract. Further to this, Tony is leading on producing key deliverables for a number of Clients such as bespoke contract guidance manuals, development of new operational arrangements to enable and support contracts, establishing project management tools and designing effective governance and reporting.

Tony has over 30-years’ experience of planning, developing and implementing infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects, including:

• Establishing and directing public/private partnerships
• Project management and direction of multi-million pound infrastructure projects
• Construction management, including claims resolutionIn addition, Tony has considerable experience of leading teams in the development and implementation of arrangements for the successful delivery of multi-million pound works programmes, comprising:

• Development of procurement and contract strategies
• Preparation of contract documentation
• Procurement of contractors and consultants
• Contract and programme management, including project reviews and audits
